This necklace features a quote by Emily Dickinson that I've handwritten and etched into a hand cut sterling silver pendant: "hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without the words and never stops at all. I have also etched her name, "E. Dickinson", onto a small, hand cut sterling feather that hangs near the clasp. The words have been oxidized for contrast and the pieces have been given a brushed finish. The pendant measures approximately 1-3/4" x 9/16" and hangs from a sterling silver chain.
