This sterling silver necklace features a quote by Louisa May Alcott: I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning to sail my ship. I've handwritten the words and etched them into the sterling silver pendant. My hand drawn antique style nautical compass rose is etched in the center of the piece, encircled by the words. I've given the pendant a concave form. A sterling silver tag etched with the author's name hangs near the clasp. I've given this piece an oxidized, brushed finish. The pendant measures approximately 1-3/16" in diameter and hangs from a 20" oxidized sterling silver chain.
